National Academy for Arts-In-Education is a multi-arts facility for training young people in all aspects of professional theatre, including:

 

• Performing

• Directing

• Writing

• Design

• Production

 

Arts-in-Education programs and services promote and enhance the development of youth and provide broader avenues to complement academic works, thus promoting and instilling confidence as students learn. Research shows that students with a background in the arts excel at higher academic levels and exhibit more confidence and self-esteem.

 

To instill a sense of competency and usefulness in youth within the community, the National Academy for Arts-In-Education provides programs designed to train and develop the youth’s creative mind in one of more areas of the arts, while integrating the arts into the New York State school curriculum and making it available in the public school classroom as well as in after school and Saturday programs.
